The following are some of the photo's of my Dad's mini-max. It was constructed from an early
set of plans, pre s/n 100. It was built or at least finished by Scot Land of Pop's Props. Dad
purchased it in November of 1998. It is powered by a Kawasaki 340 Liquid cooled 2 cycle
with approximately a 2.6:1 belt reduction. We are currently using a Felix bi-cambered propellor.

Dad currently is working on losing some weight so he can fly it. Ihave put about 60 hours on
it. There have been a few pitfalls. Muffler cracks and one engine out on the first flight once
we got it to my house possibly caused by a combination of carb Ice and too big a prop. Temps
were right for it and we were also having cooling problems. Had a radiator hose leaking
that went undetected.

They say any landing you can walk away from is a good landing,
I really prefer the landings you can fly away from, but you do not always
get what you want. Demise of the Mini
